Ms. Universe PH Ariella Arida

Last Monday, I had the pleasure of doing Ms. Universe – Philippines Ariella Arida’s makeup for a fashion editorial with Rappler. I was really very excited to do this; it’s been a while since I’ve done a fashion shoot because I’m now mostly focusing on bridal clients and teaching makeup. This was definitely a breather for me.

Color Burst: Sunny Summer Makeup (Rappler Beauty Editorial)

I’m just reposting these photos from the Rappler beauty editorial that was published last January. Just thought it would be apt to post these again since we’re in the peak of summer season, and we could all definitely use some bright lip colors! ๐Ÿ™‚

Best Beauty (V Weddings Magazine)

Yay, a beauty editorial for a wedding magazine! I did vintage and bohemian looks for this one. Grab a copy of the latest V Weddings Philippines in leading bookstores nationwide with Lovi Poe on the cover.

The Alpha Woman (Rappler Fashion Ed)

Fuma-fasyon na ang Rappler! I’m happy to be part of Rappler’s very first fashion editorial last year. I worked with them again after this one and I can’t wait to see it! Reposting these from Rappler’s site.

Artista Academy Goes Glam

Last September, I had the opportunity to do makeup on TV 5’s Artista Academy reality show contestants. The challenge was that they have to undergo a makeover courtesy of fashion and glam experts so that they’ll look every bit an artista that is magazine cover worthy. I admit, I have no TV life and I wasn’t familiar with any of them at first, but after a whole day shoot I’ve definitely gotten to know them and was awed at how hardworking these kids are. Mahirap talagang mag-artista!ย

8 Dream Careers for You: Make Them Come True! (Sarah Magazine)

This editorial is a double feature for me– I was quoted on how I started as a makeup artist, and incidentally I also did the makeup on the models in this article.ย I’m really flattered that my job is considered a dream career, it really is a dream come true for me! Ever since I started doing makeup full time last year, I’ve always looked forward to every single day of work. I am forever thankful for all the bookings and projects being given to me, and I love the fact that I am surrounded with creative and energetic people who are as passionate as me with their respective careers.READ MORE

Man on Fire: Tom Rodriguez (Cosmopolitan Oct 2010)

When I first saw Tom Rodriguez as Angelica Panganiban’s husband in the movie Here Comes The Bride, I loudly whispered to my friend Ajjie, “Who’s that guy?!? Ang gwapo!!!” I don’t really watch a lot of TV so I haven’t seen him before the movie, and I didn’t know that he joined Pinoy Big Brother. All I know is that he’s too darn cute! Fast forward to August, Cosmo booked me to groom him for their October issue’s Man on Fire. Kilig!!! =)
