Do you accept pencil bookings?

I really hate to say it, but NO. I’ve had a few bad experiences when it comes to pencil bookings before, so I’ve learned to be firm with it. I’ll be needing 50% downpayment for all bookings so I can reserve the date for you.

I’d love to learn makeup from you! Can you give me rates for personal, group, and professional makeup classes?

You’ve come to the right person! I can confidently say teaching is my forte. Please get in touch with me.

Where is your makeup studio and how do I get there?

My makeup studio is in 48 Kalaw St, Mira-Nila Homes, Congressional Avenue Extension, Quezon City.

Do I really, really need trial hair and makeup before my wedding?

For both our peace of mind, YES, my dear bride-to-be.

If you have booked me already, the trial hair and makeup session is the best time for us to experiment with different looks without the pressure of getting it right the very first time. That’s why it’s called a trial, right? This is also the best time for me and my hairstylist to get to know you, your personal style, and check out if your fiancé is gwapo. 😀

If you haven’t booked me yet, then this is the time to see if my style is really what you’re going for. So you can maximize your trial hair and makeup, you can coincide it with your engagement shoot or a special event you’re attending.

I’ve had clients though who didn’t have trial and it turned out fine. They’re mostly my overseas brides who simply don’t have the time for it. Some are confident enough to not have one since they already like what they saw in my portfolio.

How soon should I have the trial hair and makeup and how long does the session last?

If you’ve booked me already, I know you’re very excited and might be tempted to schedule it early, but we can have it around 3-6 months before the wedding, when you’ve already finalized the design of your gown and other details because it greatly influences the whole look. Also, you might undergo certain changes, such as hair growth and weight loss, so best not to do it too early.

Please allot a full 2 hours for the trial. It can be a bit shorter or longer than that, depending on your requests and depending on how long our chika will be.

What are the makeup brands that you use?

I’m lucky I was chosen to be an affiliate of and sponsored by Make Up For Ever, a high quality, professional French brand, so a good 90% of my products are from this brand. I continuously use other brands though, such as:

MAC, Kryolan, K-Palette, Shu Uemura, Viseart, Nars, Tarte, Temptu, Revlon

I’m so confused! What’s the difference between airbrush makeup and traditional makeup? What’s better?

I’m a fan of airbrush makeup, and I strongly encourage you to try it. I explained it in detail here.

I have absolutely NO idea what makeup look I want. Help!

Relax! It’s my job to figure out what suits you the best. You can search online and in magazines some makeup pegs, but if you’re still clueless, just come with your pretty face and I’ll take care of the rest.

I want to have some facial treatments done before being made up. Is that ok?

Sure! You can do facials, diamond peels, etc, 1-2 weeks before being made up. Just don’t do anything drastic the day before. I have a few stories to tell of treatments gone wrong so for the love of makeup, do them well in advance.

How do I prepare before being made up?

Come with a clean, moisturized face. If you can, skip the sunblock for the day. DON’T put conditioner on your hair so we can easily style it. See you!!!
